Bob Farley - TEP

Founder of the Trust business

Bob Farley was born and brought up in Jersey and he started his business career in the local hotel and tourism industry. He became Manager of the Metropole Hotel in 1975 and he also gained valuable commercial accounting experience when he took on the position of Assistant to the Chief Accountant for the Modern Hotels Group. In 1981 Bob moved to ASL and within three years he had become managing director of the ASL Group of Companies. In the course of his twenty years with the Group he has been instrumental in developing and enlarging the various businesses into the successful entities they have become today. Bob gained membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 1998.

Outside of work Bob is kept busy with family life. He is also a very keen golfer, and was Captain of Les Mielles Golf Club.

Bob is retiring from the Trust business in October 2007 and will continue to develop the ASL Personnel Selection business in Jersey as well as his golf handicap.
