Kenneth Steventon

Founder

Kenneth Steventon’s successful business career started in 1946 when he joined the family business John Steventon & Sons Limited which was based in Staffordshire. The principal activity of the firm was the manufacturing and marketing of vitreous china, plastic and brassware fittings for the Sanitaryware Trade. During Kenneth’s sixteen years at the helm of the company the manufacturing production was increased twenty-fold culminating in the sale of the business in 1968 to Ideal Standard Limited.

Kenneth then moved to Jersey where he has developed a number of different business interests. He continues to act as Chairman of the family owned holding company of a group of international marketing and manufacturing companies. He is also a Senior Consultant in the special technology involved with "Once Fired Vitreous China." He founded the ASL Group of companies in 1974 which today principally consists of the Trust Company, ASL Financial & Commercial Services Limited, and the employment agency known as ASL Personnel Selection. In addition his past Jersey directorships have included the following posts:

When not pursuing his many business interests Kenneth enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, who are all resident in Jersey.

Mr Steventon retired from the Trust business in October 2007.
